Description Vostok Cal. 2414A USSR 1980s Men's Mechanical Wristwatch 17 Jewels
This Vostok Cal. 2414A men's wristwatch comes from the Chistopol Watch Factory and dates to the 1980s, around 1985. It is an all-original Soviet mechanical watch, recently serviced and ready for its next collector.
The Look
The watch has a warm gold dial with Arabic numerals, giving it a clean, readable face with a distinctly late-Soviet dress-watch character. The dial is signed Wostok, 17 jewels, and Made in USSR, with blued hour and minute hands adding a sharp contrast against the gold surface. A black seconds hand keeps the layout crisp, while the acrylic crystal and oval gold-plated case give the watch a soft vintage profile on the wrist.
Inside the Case
Power comes from the Vostok 2414A, a hand-wound mechanical movement known among Soviet-watch collectors for its practical construction and everyday usability. This example has been serviced, including full disassembly, cleaning, washing, reassembly and lubrication.

Condition and Service
The gold dial is in good condition and shows almost no signs of use, which is a strong point for this example. The acrylic crystal is also in good condition, and the gold-plated case presents well with small signs of use consistent with a vintage Soviet wristwatch.
The stainless steel screw-down back has no deep scratches. The watch is all original and was serviced on July 19, 2026, with a full disassembly, cleaning, washing, assembly and lubrication carried out.
Why This One Is Interesting
This Vostok brings together several collector-friendly details: the gold dial, blued hands, 17-jewel 2414A movement, date function and an oval gold-plated case with strong period style. At 40 mm across, it has more wrist presence than many Soviet dress watches of the era, while the 10 mm case thickness keeps it comfortable and understated.
