Interesting Slava watch, previously gently used, produced in the Soviet Union in the 1980s.
The case is in good external condition, the mechanism 2427 on 27 ruby stones underwent maintenance in 2022 by a professional master. The beautiful silver dial features a double instant calendar indicating the current date and day of the week. Dimensions: 40 mm x 45 mm (width with crown), strap base width: 18 mm.

To create a 24-caliber mechanism, by order of Glavchasprom, an inter-factory working group was created under the leadership of the head of the new design bureau of 2MChZ Anatoly Vasilyevich Zakharov, which managed to obtain high energy characteristics with a relatively small volume of the mechanism, which had a positive effect on its metrological characteristics and reliability.

In 1966, the first batch of 24-caliber watches with date and day of the week display was released. But in 1973, mass production of wristwatches began, already with the 2427 mechanism with the largest number of additional devices. First class watch caliber 24 mm with movement height 6.85 mm on 27 jewels, autonomy 35 hours; Double-acting self-winding, sliding support.

In 1974, at the international exhibition in Brno, the wristwatch “Slava” caliber 2427 was awarded a gold medal. A similar medal was won the following year at the international fair in Leipzig.
