Dial & hands (appearance)
The dial shows a fine guilloché pattern — a delicate, small-mesh texture across the surface that gives the face subtle depth and vintage character. Applied baton hour markers and slim baton hands present a clean, utilitarian aesthetic typical of late-Soviet design. The central seconds hand is thin and precise. The day-of-week indication is printed in black; Sundays are highlighted in red for instant recognition. The day/date aperture at 3 o’clock is framed for clarity and visual balance.
Condition
These are vintage, used watches and show normal signs of wear: light scratches on the chrome-plated case, small scuffs and patina consistent with age and everyday use. The movement has been serviced and runs reliably after the service. The watch comes fitted with a new vintage-style strap (faux leather) with a steel-colour buckle.
Why buy this watch?
This Slava is a great example of practical Soviet engineering — robust, well-built and full of character. Because it has been recently serviced and fitted with a fresh vintage-style strap, it is ready to wear immediately and will make a striking daily driver or a valuable addition to any vintage watch collection. If you appreciate original mechanical timepieces with a distinctive historical look, this Slava stands out for its guilloché dial, full date display, and chrome-plated brass case that shines with authentic Soviet charm.
