Description Soviet Watch Pobeda 2603 16 Jewels Leningrad Electric Clocks (ECHL) Made in USSR 1950s
Vintage Soviet Pobeda Wristwatch — ÉChL Assembly (Late 1950s)
A rare and highly collectible Soviet-era Pobeda wristwatch assembled at the Electric Clocks of Leningrad factory (ЭЧЛ) in the late 1950s. ÉChL-assembled Pobeda watches were produced in smaller numbers than mass-factory versions, making them especially sought after by collectors. The watch is powered by the reliable Caliber 2603 movement (16 jewels) produced by the Petrodvorets Watch Factory (ПЧЗ). It has been fully serviced on September 15, 2025 by a professional watchmaker (complete disassembly, cleaning, washing, and lubrication). After servicing, the movement has been carefully tested and shows accurate timekeeping.
Condition & Appearance
The dial has a cream-colored guilloché (structural textured) surface with applied gilt Arabic numerals and a small seconds subdial at 6 o’clock. Original gilt hands, including the sub-seconds hand, are intact. The chrome-plated case shows authentic vintage wear — light scuffs and scratches that confirm originality and add charm. The watch is sold with a brown vintage-style faux-leather strap.

Special Notes
These Pobeda wristwatches from the late 1950s, assembled at ЭЧЛ, are considered rare production examples compared to mass-assembled Pobeda models. Timepieces with the ÉChL marking are highly valued among collectors due to their historical significance, lower production numbers, and distinctive assembly origin. The elegant cream guilloché dial with applied gilt numerals further enhances its collectible appeal. The watch shows signs of age, but thanks to the recent professional servicing and accuracy check, it is in excellent working condition. Its imperfections add to the authentic vintage charm and confirm its originality, making it not only a functional wristwatch but also a valuable collectible.
