Description Vostok 2214 Soviet Men's Wristwatch 1970s 18 Jewels Mechanical
This Vostok caliber 2214 wristwatch comes from the Chistopol Watch Factory and dates to the 1970s. It is an all-original, serviced mechanical Soviet watch, recently taken through a full maintenance procedure and ready for a collector who appreciates honest vintage character.
The Look
The cream dial gives this Vostok a warm, understated presence on the wrist, especially against the gold-tone hands. Arabic numerals keep the layout clear and practical, while the date window at 3 o'clock adds everyday usefulness without disturbing the balanced Soviet-era design. The dial carries the Vostok logo and 18-jewel marking, rendered in English here, with visible signs of age that suit the watch rather than trying to hide its decades of use. An acrylic crystal completes the period-correct look, giving the dial the softer visual depth collectors expect from a vintage USSR wristwatch.
Inside the Case
At the heart of the watch is the mechanical Vostok 2214 movement, a hand-wound caliber from the Chistopol Watch Factory. It has been serviced, cleaned, lubricated and regulated, making this example more appealing than an untouched shelf find.

Condition and Service
This is a vintage watch with visible use, and the condition has been kept honestly described. The chrome-plated brass case shows marks from wear, including scratches and rubbing. The dial also shows traces of time, which is typical for a watch of this age and gives the piece a genuine, lived-in appearance.
The screw-down caseback has scratches. The watch is all original and was serviced on 03.07.2026. The service included complete disassembly, cleaning, ultrasonic washing, reassembly, lubrication and accuracy adjustment.
Why This One Is Interesting
This Vostok brings together several details collectors look for: the Chistopol factory origin, the 18-jewel caliber 2214 movement, a practical date display, and a cream Arabic-numeral dial with period character. Its compact 34 mm case wears neatly, while the 18 mm lug width makes it easy to pair with a strap of your choice.
