This is an authentic Vostok Komandirskie mechanical watch, manufactured at the Chistopol Watch Factory (USSR). Komandirskie watches were produced by order of the Ministry of Defense of the Soviet Union and intended for military personnel. They were not part of regular civilian retail production and were closely associated with official service and awards.

The watch is powered by the Vostok caliber 2234 mechanical movement featuring 18 jewels and hacking seconds (stop-seconds function), allowing precise time synchronization — an important requirement for military use.

The watch has been professionally serviced in February 2026. It was fully disassembled, thoroughly cleaned, washed, properly lubricated, and carefully reassembled by a professional watchmaker. The movement runs correctly and is fully ready for everyday wear.

The watch is fitted with a new old stock ZIM stainless steel bracelet. The bracelet is adjustable, unused, and comes from original Soviet stock, still in its factory packaging. It was produced in 1989 and is fully original to the period.

The hands retain their original luminous compound and glow in the dark, preserving both functionality and authentic vintage appearance.

Dating to the 1980s, this Komandirskie was part of a production intended for military distribution. Such watches were typically issued to Soviet Army officers for merit, before assignments, or as official awards rather than being freely sold in stores.
