About the Movement
The ZIM 2602 is a Soviet manual-wind caliber featuring 15 jewels and a decentralized small-seconds display. It operates at 18,000 vibrations per hour and uses a traditional Breguet-type hairspring. This example has been upgraded with a shock-protected balance, increasing its reliability in everyday wear. Originally designed for simplicity and durability, the 2602 remains one of the most recognized Soviet movements among collectors today.
